Four Pack Sadness Around Here
It’s been such a difficult few months for me, and I know you will understand. My four-pack has become a one-pack, and I miss these babies so much. Upper left: Tinkerbell, Center: Rosie, Upper right: Chelsea, and front right: Gracie We said goodbye to Tinkerbell a year ago around this time. She was my first rescue from Muttville in San Francisco. We had to say goodbye to Chelsea in September of this year. My Summer House is Coming Soon!
My Summer House is my 26th line of Fabric for Moda, and I still can’t believe I’m a Moda designer. Quick, pinch me so I’ll know I’m not dreaming because for this new fabric line, Moda has featured me on the cover of their catalog! I’ve spent the last few months fixing up my garden so I could relax and enjoy it for this photo shoot. I love to garden, so I can’t really call it work, but each and every flower got extra mulch, food, and tender loving care this year. She’s not a morning person
We had to leave early to get to the vet by 7:30 for check-in yesterday. It wasn’t easy because Chelsea is definitely not a morning person dog. I dropped her off, and by 8:30, her Dr. was calling me. She did a chest x-ray to check her heart and lungs before she put her under anesthesia. Her lungs were a little cloudy, and her heart was larger than she wanted it to be, so no surgery right now. She has congestive heart failure, so putting her under anesthesia like this isn’t a good idea. She’s increased her diuretic to 3 times a day, and hopefully, we can get the fluid…
