Glitter Houses & Sugar Stars
I love Glitter Houses, and I’ve collected many throughout the years. I have a vintage collection mixed in with new, and my Christmas decorating always centers around these houses. My newest fabric line, Sugar Plum Christmas, has a soft side that you can see when you combine the pink, gray, and ivory fabrics. These are the fabrics I used to create Glitter Houses, one of my new quilts. In shades of pink and gray it’s going to be a shabby chic, pink Christmas! Leaving town again
I keep thinking I’ll fit in a blog post any day now, but here I am getting ready to get on a plane for Portland this morning with not much done. I’m flying to Holly Hill Quilt Shoppe along with 4 other designers to show 150 ladies how to make our little Christmas projects! I’ll just give you a quick run down on my schedule so you’ll understand why there’s not been a peep from me. I got my fabric two weeks before market. Need I say more? Quilt Market Favorites
Mr. Clover and I are smiling because he’s just told me that Clover is going to make a new craft iron. This was back in 2013. Well, I’ve been waiting and waiting and it’s finally coming true! Clover is bringing back their Craft Iron with a new and updated look. This is my “find” from Quilt Market. The Clover Wedge Iron doesn’t ship until October but when it does, I think you’re going to want one for applique. We’ll be taking pre-orders in August, when it’s closer to the shipping date.
