• Oliso on its way!

Dear Mary in Texas, Oliso emailed to say your iron is on the way! Hugs, Anne P.S.  Your charm pack is also on the way.  Please wait for your Oliso to arrive before you iron it! If your name isn’t Mary and you don’t live in Texas, you can still have this iron!  You’ll just have to break down and buy one like I did.   Think of how much you’ve spent on fabric (or maybe you shouldn’t) and the iron will seem like pennies.  Email me if you buy one and let me know how you like it! Today on Moda Pillow Talk is the beautiful and talented Camille…

  • Moda Pillow Talk Day 7!

Happy Monday every one!  It’s day seven of Pillow Talk and it’s Lynne’s turn over at Kansas Troubles!  I can’t wait to read her post!   She’s a tradition at Moda and in the world of quilting.  Can you imagine visiting her house?   I’d come home with a bit of the “prim” in my heart I’m sure.  She has a way of drawing you in with her colors and quilts! Have you entered to win all the giveaways from the Moda designers?  They are the nicest group of ladies and they love to share.  Some of you are going to win some great, great prizes! My grand-daughters were over for…

  • Moda Pillow Talk

Hi Everyone!  Welcome to Pillow Talk at Bunny Hill!  The creative mind behind “Pillow Talk” is Lissa Alexander the marketing director at Moda!  She dreams up things for us to do in her sleep.  No wonder she’s calling this “Pillow Talk”!  We never know what she’ll dream up next!  This time she’s given us questions to answer –  like what we do to relax, do we like pajamas, something about us you might not know, do we sew in bed… …So grab your jammies, your favorite pillow and come on over for some Pillow Talk!  Of course you may have to share a bed with Bitsy or Chelsea… …or, maybe…

  • It’s finally a Quilt!

Snowmen are coming to town this holiday season!   It’s Snowbound time at Bunny Hill!  There’s nothing like finishing a quilt and being able to finally use it!  If you’ve joined me in making Snowbound, I hope you’ll enjoy yours as much as I’m enjoying mine! I’ve gathered up a few of my favorite snowmen and Snowbound is hanging in my dining room for the holidays.  Come on in! They key to a good display is to vary the height. You can easily create height with a few empty boxes, some scraps of your favorite quilting fabric, ribbon and pins.  You can reuse the fabric after Christmas so don’t worry about…

  • A Christmas Without Bears?

I spent the weekend decorating for Christmas like many of you.  My husband drug out all the boxes, stacked them in the center of the garage and asked “are you doing the bears this year?”  ” Think I’ll skip a year” I said.  “Maybe they’re getting a bit old, year after year.” And then tonight I found these pictures… “So you’re done now, right?  I can put all these boxes away?”  “Yes, all finished!”, I said.  But that was before I found the photos. I don’t have the heart to tell him my little friends can’t sit outside in plastic bins.  I don’t know where I’ll put them now that…

  • Fall Quilt Market

The only thing I don’t like about Fall market is the timing.  It always seems to fall over Halloween and many of us don’t get to see our kids or grand-kids dressed in all their glory.  Of course at Moda they try and make us feel like family, so we had some trick or treating going on right at market! Debbie, (chief of all things patterns) was so cute.  There I was telling her how I’d have everything ready early for spring market and she just cracked up laughing! She threatens me every year because I’m late getting things to her, but even dressed up like a witch she’s really…
