• Spring Quilt Market 2011

Oh my goodness, what a whirlwind the last week has been. I met so many wonderful people and saw so many beautiful quilts.  I’m in awe of it all!  Hugs, hugs, and more hugs;  I think that’s what quilt market is about!  Salt Lake City I miss you already, but I have to say it feels good to be home.  The greeting committee that met me at the front door today made sure I was covered in wet sloppy kisses in no time at all. I got a hug and a kiss from my husband too, but there’s nothing like dog kisses mixed with a little cat fur! Speaking of…

  • Designer Cat

Excitement is running high this week at Bunny Hill!  Puttin’ on the Ritz advance yardage has arrived! I don’t know who’s more excited about the arrival me or Mooch!  Mooch is really attracted to this fabric line and I think it might have something to do with the beautiful gray color.  As soon as I cut up some little squares she was right there in the middle of everything! Here she is daring me to move her… This is a cat’s life at Bunny Hill!   Did you know Mooch can read? It’s true!  Here she is reading the words on the fabric! My, I have a smart cat!  She…

  • Pillow Talk

I just found out that Lissa, our great leader has a blog post with a giveaway!    Go there now and sign up for her giveaway.  She doesn’t say what it is, but she is MODA!!!!  Hmmm, maybe I’ll sign up! I’ve been designing with my new fabric line and I don’t have any fabric yet!  I’m still waiting for fabric to arrive so in order to get a head start I’m working digitally.  I use a software program called Adobe Illustrator and I can actually scan my drawings, trace them directly on my “oh so fancy Wacom monitor”, and insert the fabrics into the drawings.  It gives me an idea…

  • More fluff and stuff

I’ll confess, I fell for it.  I believed Sandy Gervais could paint with her toes.  I spent about 3 minutes trying to imagine it and by that time I was at the end of her post.  If you are as gullible as me we could go together and buy the real estate she’s selling!  It’s not so far fetched because my DH can pick up pencils and things with his toes.  I’m not really proud of him for this trait but I didn’t find out about it until after we were married! Today is Laurie & Jessi Jung day on Pillow Talk!   You’re in for a treat because everything…

  • One big party

So by now you’re getting the idea of Pillow Talk.  It’s a bit like a giant sleepover with quilters! Laurie over at Minick and Simpson has my dream bead.  Did you see it?  Oh if only it were in pink!  Yesterday was  Minick & Simpson day on Moda Pillow Talk and they’re giving away a one of a kind Minick & Simpson pillow!  You can still enter to win, just hop over to their blog and leave a comment!  They are both animal lovers like I am!  Hmmm…wonder if they let their dogs sleep in bed with them? Today is Liesl’s day over at Oliver + S!  We both started…
