Vintage Brick Mold

Thought I’d share my latest purchase with you, a vintage brick mold that I found while shopping at Terrain.  If you haven’t been to one of their stores or browsed their website, you’re in for a treat!  It’s my favorite place to shop for gardening, decorating, terrariums, and so much more.

Terrain uses this vintage brick mold as a container for succulents.

I use mine as a Foxly container…

…but it also holds fat quarters like it was made for them!

Come Christmas it will be holding snowmen or some other cute things I can find.

How fun that they found these molds and were able to get enough to sell to us!  Years ago when I was selling vintage spools, someone who shops for Pottery Barn contacted me for my source.  Apparently, these stores have “shoppers” who are always on the hunt for vintage finds.

If you like vintage, you may want one of these brick molds too!

Thanks, Terrain!  These make such great containers.  What will you put in yours?

What a great find!  Nice little spot for Foxly.  I’ve always loved vintage, even as a young girl, so happily I obtained several things my mom was eager to get rid of.  I’m so glad I got a half dozen of your vintage spools when you offered them years ago.  I wrap my prepared bindings and rick rack around them.

I admit I have never seen a brick mold, even though I was born in Chicago where bricks were made.  Cool that you found it.  I have never heard of Terrain.  Wish they had one near ME!!

Those are wonderful! The one with the succulents are exactly something my son’s bride would love! Saying daughter in law sounds so cold to me. She’s my third daughter and I love her as my own. I’ve never called my HH’s Mama Mother-in-law either. She’s been my other mother for over 35 years!
Thank you for sharing this resource, it’s new to me. Gardening is my outside happy place, so I am headed straight to their website!

Hi Anne, what a great idea! I like to use items differently than there original purpose. This is really nice, perfect for Christmas as you said.
