Goodbye 2016, Hello 2017!

Join me this New Year’s Eve for a Bunny Hill giveaway!  It’s time to celebrate the end of a year and the start of another and I’ve been gathering up things to give away.   I brought some samples back from quilt market and found some other treats that Moda’s sent me over the last year.  I’ve got two fat quarter bundles of Sugar Plum Christmas, one fat eighth bundle, and an Aurifil thread kit.  I found some different designer rolls of wonderful Moda fabric groups so I’m giving those away too.  This giveaway will end tomorrow, on January 1st. and I’ll choose a total of eight winners.  It could be you if you leave me a comment!

We used to wait up to see the ball drop in New York, but they’ve quit showing it live here in California.  And, try as we might we usually don’t last until midnight for the firework display in San Francisco.  I hope your New Year’s Eve is more exciting than ours.  I’ll be back tomorrow to tell you who the winners of the goodies are.  Happy New Year’s Eve everyone!

    Happy New year. Absolutely love your new Christmas patterns that go with Sugar Plum Christmas fabric. I haven’t done much appliqué but those patterns make we want to attempts something new in 2017.

    Thanks Anne for all your wonderful patterns and fabric all through the year! My favourite winter/Xmas quilt is still the snowman one with the set in stepping stone blocks….loved the colours and the design. I get a warm feeling every time it’s on the wall!     Anne, I am so excited a new year is here!! Finally I can get back to my sewing. Last week my test came backand iI am officially cancer free. My hubby got through spinal surgery and goes back to work in 3 days! We actually went over today and dust and got his office all ready! Me, I can’t wait for freedom to sew all day by myself! I am very excited!

    Happy New Year Anne! We no longer stay up u til midnight either, Im way to tired by 10:00 to think about staying awake for a other 2 hrs!
    My favorite quilt I have done is your Bunny Hill baskets quilt you had as a free bom, I loved working on that quilt!

    Well, we are just like you…when we were younger, we barely noticed when the time sneaked up on us to end the year. Now, if we are awake, it’s a surprise to us. I didn’t make a Christmas quilt this year, so it would be great to have some fabric to do at least a wall hanging, table runner or throw. Thank you for sponsoring this giveaway!!!     HI Anne. Always such a delight to hear from you and see your new creations ~It must be just so wonderful to be so talented and come up with the sweetest fabrics and little characters/creatures and also your imagination to design your wonderfully joy quilts.
    You truly are a fun person to be a friend to.
    BTW, how about photos of the “Grands” You have not mentioned or showed of late, either that or I missed the posts.
    We just left fifteen inches of white fluffy stuff in the mts. of No Conway of NH where we spent the holidays with our great “grands”. Such a wonderful time to be with the little ones during the holidays.

    Wow, what a way to start the New Year – your very generous give-away. I love your Sugar Plum Christmas line. I didn’t get the time to make anything Christmas this year and have absolutely nothing Christmas in my stash. An early start on next year would be great!

    Stay up until midnight? Not a chance. I turn in at about 8 pm every night, I watch a little TV or read a while, then lights out. I’m up at 5 am. It’s not as if I had to go to work. I’m 73!

    I love the tiny prints. I would love to add it to my stash. Like you, I can’t stay up ’til midnight. So here in CA, the noise usually wakes us up and then back to sleep.

    I think it is very disappointing that we don’t get to see the ball drop in NY! That was always the highlight of New Years. My husband watches ALL the bowl games and I sit here and applique away! I will never finish everything I want to do… I will be hoping that my name is drawn to add to my stash…

    We never make it to midnight either, although we are stirred a bit by fireworks in the neighborhood. In recent years they’ve established the Great Potato Drop in Boise, but, even if we could stay awake, it’s terribly cold here in the valley tonight, so we are just going to snuggle up with our Grandson and our pups and call it 2017 in the morning!
