Goodbye 2016, Hello 2017!
Join me this New Year’s Eve for a Bunny Hill giveaway! It’s time to celebrate the end of a year and the start of another and I’ve been gathering up things to give away. I brought some samples back from quilt market and found some other treats that Moda’s sent me over the last year. I’ve got two fat quarter bundles of Sugar Plum Christmas, one fat eighth bundle, and an Aurifil thread kit. I found some different designer rolls of wonderful Moda fabric groups so I’m giving those away too. This giveaway will end tomorrow, on January 1st. and I’ll choose a total of eight winners. It could be you if you leave me a comment!
We used to wait up to see the ball drop in New York, but they’ve quit showing it live here in California. And, try as we might we usually don’t last until midnight for the firework display in San Francisco. I hope your New Year’s Eve is more exciting than ours. I’ll be back tomorrow to tell you who the winners of the goodies are. Happy New Year’s Eve everyone!
Anne

Hey Anne! Bless your heart for sharing your talent throughout the year and for sharing fabric at the beginning of a new year. What a way to start 2017 for the lucky winners. Happy New Year!
When we walk with God He shares our burdens.
Never a trial that he is not there,
Never a burden that He doth not bear,
Never a sorrow that He doth not share,
Moment by moment, I’m under His care.

Anne, I am so excited a new year is here!! Finally I can get back to my sewing. Last week my test came backand iI am officially cancer free. My hubby got through spinal surgery and goes back to work in 3 days! We actually went over today and dust and got his office all ready! Me, I can’t wait for freedom to sew all day by myself! I am very excited!

Well, we are just like you…when we were younger, we barely noticed when the time sneaked up on us to end the year. Now, if we are awake, it’s a surprise to us. I didn’t make a Christmas quilt this year, so it would be great to have some fabric to do at least a wall hanging, table runner or throw. Thank you for sponsoring this giveaway!!! I hope this new year brings good fortune and blessings to you…
Lorna MacFarlane

HI Anne. Always such a delight to hear from you and see your new creations ~It must be just so wonderful to be so talented and come up with the sweetest fabrics and little characters/creatures and also your imagination to design your wonderfully joy quilts.
You truly are a fun person to be a friend to.
BTW, how about photos of the “Grands” You have not mentioned or showed of late, either that or I missed the posts.
We just left fifteen inches of white fluffy stuff in the mts. of No Conway of NH where we spent the holidays with our great “grands”. Such a wonderful time to be with the little ones during the holidays.
Beth
I love your Sugar Plum Christmas line! Happy New Year and thanks for a chance to win!

Happy New Year to you & your family. I’m still haven’t started any of my applique projects but when I retire, “watch out!” Love your designs, they just get cuter & cuter.
Adina
Anne, I fell in love with your designs the first time I saw them which was many years ago. You are unique and special. So thoughtful of you to have a giveaway. Happy New Year filled with much happiness to everyone, from Arizona.
Judy Chastain
Wow, what a way to start the New Year – your very generous give-away. I love your Sugar Plum Christmas line. I didn’t get the time to make anything Christmas this year and have absolutely nothing Christmas in my stash. An early start on next year would be great!
Stay up until midnight? Not a chance. I turn in at about 8 pm every night, I watch a little TV or read a while, then lights out. I’m up at 5 am. It’s not as if I had to go to work. I’m 73!
Happy New Year, Anne and thank you for an opportunity to win.
Barb Z
Happy New Year! I’ll be asleep when the new year arrives although I usually wake up briefly when the neighborhood fireworks start. 🎉
Linda Anderson
I love the tiny prints. I would love to add it to my stash. Like you, I can’t stay up ’til midnight. So here in CA, the noise usually wakes us up and then back to sleep.
Happy New Year!
Marietta Couch
Love your designs & especially the colors. They always make me smile! Happy New Year to you & yours! !
Elaine
I think it is very disappointing that we don’t get to see the ball drop in NY! That was always the highlight of New Years. My husband watches ALL the bowl games and I sit here and applique away! I will never finish everything I want to do… I will be hoping that my name is drawn to add to my stash…
Kimberley Anderson
I love the small scale prints and color pallet of your Sugar Plum Christmas line. So many fun ideas are inspired by your creative pieces. Here’s “Cheers” to planning next Christmas season’s gifts! Thank you:) Happy New Year!
Barbara Macey
Annne,
Thank You for the:”give away” a chance to win is a great way to begin the New Year of 2017. As others have remarked, I too love the whimsical imagination you exhibit in designing. Yours is evidently a mind of Only Anne’s not other designers. Thank You for that.
Happy New Year from Knoxville, TN.
Brenda Cornell
We never make it to midnight either. I am so reinvigorated by all the new Christmas fabrics and love everything Moda. Happy New Year to you and lets all sew in 2017!
Lynne Finlay
Happy New Year and I hope 2017 is full of happy stitching for everyone. x
Deborah
Wishing everyone a Happy New Year! May everyone’ experience love, peace, and good health in 2017! Thank you for your beautiful designs and inspiration!!
Nancy Cobler
We never make it to midnight either, although we are stirred a bit by fireworks in the neighborhood. In recent years they’ve established the Great Potato Drop in Boise, but, even if we could stay awake, it’s terribly cold here in the valley tonight, so we are just going to snuggle up with our Grandson and our pups and call it 2017 in the morning! Thank you for extending this giveaway to those of us who love your sweet designs! What a thoughtful, happy way to start the New Year!!!
Delcia R.
I love the Potato Drop! I saw it on line a few years ago–what a HOOT!
Nancy Cobler
The potato has evolved each year. Originally it looked like a giant ” something else” descending on Capital Blvd. Gratefully, this year’s version actually looked like a good ol’ Idaho Baker and was little from within.
Nancy Cobler
That would be, Lit from within! Doggone auto correct!
Phyllis
Hope 2017 brings us all more kindness….😊
Cathy Melancon
Happy New Year!!! May 2017 be the best!!! Thanks for the giveaway!!!
Karen S.
Happy 2017, Anne, to you and yours. Can’t wait for Sugar Plum Christmas to be available. Thanks for all your ongoing inspiration!

There is something very warm and welcoming about your designs and I always smile when I see them. Any of your giveaways would find a good home here in my sewing room. Happy New Year. I hope it will be a rewarding one for you.
