• Moda does it best!

Moda does it best!  I love designing fabrics for them, and every time a new Bunny Hill line ships from Moda I get excited.  There’s nothing like seeing bolts and pre-cuts arrive at my door. 101 Maple Street is finally here, and our website is filled with bundles, charm packs, mini charms and of course quilt kits! I love starting a new applique quilt, and if you do too, we can help!  Henrietta is ready to add her magic touch to your fall projects. If you pre-ordered a 101 Maple Street Quilt Kit we are shipping them this week. Like most of you, I am a fabric nut, and I buy other designers…

  • More snow happy hearts

April, May and June Snow Happy Hearts are up on the website and blog, ready for you to make! Here’s April… May…   and June: You’ll find the patterns for these under our “free” section on my blog or website.   I have the biggest urge to just stop everything I’m working on and make another set of these hearts.  Maybe I’d make them in felt or wool.  But, alas I have new things I’m working on that have design deadlines of September 14th., and new things to make as soon as my advance yardage arrives. I’m a snowman lover so I’m sure there are more snowmen to come!  Can…

  • Snow Happy Hearts are back

If you missed Snow Happy Hearts the first time, I’m giving them again.  You’ll get free heart patterns on the 5th of each month until all 12 are in your happy applique hands.  Don’t miss out!  The first three are ready now.  Just click on the “free” link at the top of this blog or on the “free” page on our website. There are 12 hearts total, each with a snowman, one for every month of the year.  If you haven’t made these yet, now is the time! I’ve added the Primitive Muslin Flannel back on my website if you’d like to use it for your snowmen.  The color is…

  • Vintage Brick Mold

Thought I’d share my latest purchase with you, a vintage brick mold that I found while shopping at Terrain.  If you haven’t been to one of their stores or browsed their website, you’re in for a treat!  It’s my favorite place to shop for gardening, decorating, terrariums, and so much more. Terrain uses this vintage brick mold as a container for succulents. I use mine as a Foxly container… …but it also holds fat quarters like it was made for them! Come Christmas it will be holding snowmen or some other cute things I can find. How fun that they found these molds and were able to get enough to sell to…

  • Anticipation

It’s August, and that means we are eagerly awaiting the shipment of 101 Maple Street from Moda!  I’m told it will still be a few weeks before it starts to arrive, so I’m trying to be patient. I’ve decided that the anticipation leading up to the arrival of new fabric is part of the excitement!  Imagine the UPS truck bringing boxes of 101 Maple Street quilt kits, pre-cuts, and fabrics!  Opening the packages is always a surprise to me because I don’t see the quilt kits until they arrive.  You can count on Moda to do an adorable box! It’s been a while so here’s a little reminder of what 101 Maple…
