Pretty Things
My studio is filled with pretty things today. I wish I could show you what’s on the work table under this chandelier. I’ve been working on it for awhile and everyday I get closer to completion. Soon I’ll be giving you hints on what it is. If you guess it right you’ll be entered into a drawing for a really nice prize! Remember, you’ve had one hint already. It’s Christmas! The light from the chandelier is so pretty! It’s amazing how it lights up the studio! To install the chandelier we had to remove the ceiling fan, so now I have two of these fans in the studio! Bunny for Mila
You know I’m “into” babies these days with my new Fabric line “Lily & Will” for Moda Fabrics, but I would have NEVER thought of doing something this cute with my fabric until I saw Mila’s blog! Oh my gosh I love this lady! Pat is the one person who can always make me smile. She has more energy than anyone I know AND she accomplishes more in one day than most of us do in a week. UPS gets me in trouble
UPS just gets me in so much trouble. Granted we do a lot of shipping by UPS, but seems that brown truck is here almost every day with deliveries too! The good thing is that my hubby thinks everything I’m buying is for you! It’s great having a web site because I can disguise a lot of boxes as Bunny Hill product. “Oh that’s for Bunny Hill”, I say. Like this market trolley I bought on Amazon last week… The UPS box it arrived in was small! About the size of the polka dot pocket on the bag! The bag folds up and fits inside the pocket! Don’t you love weekends?
I love weekends, and I love them even more when I don’t have plans. I spent Saturday working in the studio and watching my favorite TV shows. I’m working on my next block of the month and I’ll give you a little hint; it’s a Christmas quilt. Ahhh, you may think you have ENOUGH Christmas quilts. I’m here to say this is not possible and I hope I can entice you into more applique. There’s another little critter I love to draw almost as much as a bunny.
