Thank you to each and everyone of you who read my blog. You are some of the nicest people I know. I’ve seen your kindness everyday when I get the mail. The blocks for Jeaneane are wonderful and it amazes me to see them all! I need a bit more time to photograph the blocks and pull together the prize drawing but I’ll get it done soon! Jeaneane is going to have so much fun looking at all of the blocks you’ve made! I’ll be sharing them and announcing the prize winners very soon! A New House for Jeaneane!
Remember the photos of Jeaneane’s home after the Joplin tornado hit? Jeaneane’s family is rebuilding in the same location. Where there was once devastation a new home now stands waiting for a brick front… And the inside of the home waits for paint, flooring and final touches… I can’t imagine how excited Jeaneane must be! Her new home is so close to completion. One of her housewarming gifts will be a box filled with quilt blocks that you’ve made. Here are a few of the blocks I’ve received so far… I think Jeaneane is going to be excited when she sees all the blocks and she’ll love them even more…

Moda Dottie
I love polka dots don’t you? They make me happy! My favorite line of dots happens to be made by Moda…it’s called Dottie. Dottie used to only come in a decorator weight fabric but now Moda has Dottie in a 45″ quilting weight fabric. It comes in lots of yummy colors and I own a fat quarter of each one! The orange and white Dottie is my current favorite. I’ve used it on the border of a new quilt design and you’ll get to see the quilt next month! An orange Dottie border…can you believe it? If you haven’t seen this magazine you’re in for a treat! Mollie Makes is the best magazine I’ve seen in a long time. Crafty, decorative, and oh those little craft kits they include with each issue.
