Merry Merry Snow Days
I love snowmen almost as much as I love Christmas and my newest fabric line for Moda, Merry Merry Snow Days, is the perfect combination of both. The colors are traditional Christmas, and the tiny prints are made for fussy cutting. I hope you love this line as much as I do! Anticipation
It’s August, and that means we are eagerly awaiting the shipment of 101 Maple Street from Moda! I’m told it will still be a few weeks before it starts to arrive, so I’m trying to be patient. I’ve decided that the anticipation leading up to the arrival of new fabric is part of the excitement! Imagine the UPS truck bringing boxes of 101 Maple Street quilt kits, pre-cuts, and fabrics! Tomorrow (May 1) is the last day to pre-order your 101 Maple Street quilt kit! I have to get kit orders into Moda, and of course, I’ll order some extra, but there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to get one if you don’t pre-order. Join in the fun of making this quilt, and you’ll get to meet Quilly and her babies. Sugar Plum on Sale!
I sometimes don’t think about past fabric lines, until I run out of room in my storage closet. When bolts start to stack up, I know something has to go to make room for the new. Blend shades of persimmon, bronze, charcoal, and gold, then mix with cream and aqua and you’ll have Fall fabrics Bunny Hill style! Welcome to 101 Maple Street! Mix them all up, add in some Moda basics and you’ve got 101 Maple Street my newest applique quilt! We got the advance yardage about 3 weeks ago from Moda, and my helpers were ready. We had all the freezer paper templates cut ahead of time so we could start the applique prep right away.
