Let’s face it, new fabric has a shelf life, and within a year, it can be challenging to find. What can you do when you find a quilt you want to make, but the fabric isn’t available anymore? I’ll show you! Cottontail Cottage is the perfect spring quilt, and it’s so much fun to stitch, but by now, the fabric is almost impossible to find. Assembling My Redwork Garden
We’re assembling My Redwork Garden quilt this week and getting it ready to send to Maggie my quilter. I’m so excited to see this one come together. I took some random photos this morning that I thought you might enjoy seeing. Here’s block seven, one of my favorites. I used Bella 9900 200 off white as the background for the block and it gave all the redwork fabrics a beautiful contrast. And next to block seven you’ll find some bunnies leaping over mushrooms. New Patterns Are Here!
I’m excited to announce that our newest patterns are now in stock on my website. You’ll find them under “what’s new.” You can start preparing your applique templates before the fabric arrives in April, but remember if you’ve purchased a kit, the pattern is included. I can’t believe how long it’s taken to bring you these patterns. I designed Merry Merry Snow Days in December of 2017, and here we are with patterns finally in stock.
