Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, everyone! I absolutely love the first day of the year, don’t you? It always seems like a “free” day. One of those days when you can relax and fit in extra sewing time. I’m spending today working on a new Petite pattern for my next fabric line, and I’m going to sew more of my Blockheads 4 blocks together.  I had hoped to have this one complete by the end of the year, but I got sidetracked on the little quilt you see below.  You know how it is when you want to start a new project!

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been making a new Postcard Cuties pattern using a Jelly Roll and a Charm Pack from The Flower Farm.   If you’ve made one of my other Postcard Cuties patterns, you know they are fun and easy. Postcard Cuties for Valentine’s Day is on our website now, available as a print pattern or a downloadable PDF pattern. The quilt measure 38 1/2″ x 36 1/2″. We have fabric and Jelly rolls in stock, but the charm packs are sold out. We can help you find a shop that has what you need if you send us an email.

There’s something else really fun on our website, and I don’t think they will last very long. It’s scrap bag time! I’ve been saving these up so we can start the New Year with some fun! I am lucky to design for a fabric company that sends us the “end cuts” from the sales team sample cards. I now have three fabric lines of end cuts for those who love to make scrappy quilts; I Believe in AngelsThe Flower Farm, and Sugarberry! The bags sell for $8.95 each and include three sets of end cuts per bag. Because we have limited quantities, we’re limiting I Believe in Angels and The Flower Farm to 2 bags per person. Because Sugarberry isn’t even in shops yet, we’re limiting these to 1 bag per person.

I hope you all find some time to sew today. It’s a great way to start off the new year! Enjoy every minute, no matter what you have planned.

Happy 2023!

Anne
