Sugarberry

If you crave a bit of Winter sweetness, Sugarberry is my next fabric line for Moda! The Moda reps are showing Sugarberry to quilt shops now, and you’ll be able to find it in April 2023! The colors are similar to The Flower Farm, but I like to refer to The Flower Farm as a “sweet” fabric and Sugarberry as a “pretty” fabric in style. Sugarberry is a line that works for almost any season. I’ve selected Christmas, but I can’t help but think of how pretty it would be for Valentine’s day or spring projects.

Sugarberry Christmas is the main quilt featuring my Sugarberry Fabric line. Moda is offering a beautiful quilt kit for Sugarberry Christmas, so check with your local quilt shop to see if you can pre-order a kit. If you can’t pre-order at your local shop, we take pre-orders for kits and fat-quarter bundles through November 21st. Sugarberry Christmas measures 68 ½” x 68 ½”.

We’ve got other patterns for this fabric line that I hope you like. There’s lots of fun sewing time coming up next year!

Christmas Morning

Here’s the perfect quilt for Christmas morning! It’s one you’ll use year after year. Let your family cuddle on the couch wrapped in this cozy quilt, or use it to brighten that holiday guest bed. Back it with a soft flannel (pre-washed, of course) for extra softness. If you make it, your family will use it! 67 ½” x 67 ½”.

Sugar Cubes or Sugar Crystals, you get to choose! These are Charm Square friendly quilts, and both use the same fabrics. Add ½ yard extra cream background fabric for the Sugar Crystal Version to turn those square blocks into Snowball blocks! Quilts measure 44 ½” x 44 ½”.

Winter Blessings

I just finished stitching this little mini quilt, and I can tell you it’s fun. It comes together quickly and is the perfect mini for the season. Winter Blessings measures 29 ½” x 29 ½”.

Crystal, a Bunny Hill Petite

Of course, I can’t forget our newest Bunny Hill Petite, a little dove named Crystal. She’s the perfect little dove for your holiday decorating. Can’t you see her hanging from your Christmas tree? Make several for those last-minute Christmas gifts you need for friends, teachers, or others. Then, tie her on a present to make your wrapping as special as the gift. Crystal is easy to sew and quick to make. Her wings are padded with fusible fleece and quilted with simple machine stitching. Crystal is 4″ x 6″.

I hope you’ve enjoyed looking at our new patterns. I’m excited to say we’ll have PDF patterns for all of these, including Sugarberry Christmas. I hope this makes it easier for our International customers. Most of these patterns will be ready to go around the middle of January. And hopefully, the fabrics will arrive in April 2023. It seems so far away, but I’m always astounded at how fast the months go. ⁣
