Did you know that llamas can ski? It’s true! They have wonderful balance because of their midsection and skinny legs. They can ice-skate too, and when they hit the slopes with their snowman friends it becomes a magical event! Welcome to Merry Merry Snow Days, my newest block of the month and quilt kit from Moda!
This is such a fun quilt to make and starting in April (when the fabric ships) I’ll be giving you kit tips and ideas for applique and embroidery. If you join me and sew along, I’ll make sure you get your quilt finished in time for Christmas. The kit will come with the pattern and all the Cosmo floss you need for the quilt. You can also order the pattern and floss separately on our website.

Okay, you’ve done it again. I was trying to guess what you’d come up with this time, and I guarantee you that llamas weren’t at the top of my list. To be honest, they weren’t on the list at all. That’s how clever and original you are! But, goodness, this is CUTE! And I had no idea how specially adapted llamas are for winter sports. You learn something new every day. :D
