Anticipation
It’s August, and that means we are eagerly awaiting the shipment of 101 Maple Street from Moda! I’m told it will still be a few weeks before it starts to arrive, so I’m trying to be patient. I’ve decided that the anticipation leading up to the arrival of new fabric is part of the excitement! Imagine the UPS truck bringing boxes of 101 Maple Street quilt kits, pre-cuts, and fabrics! Opening the packages is always a surprise to me because I don’t see the quilt kits until they arrive. You can count on Moda to do an adorable box!
It’s been a while so here’s a little reminder of what 101 Maple Street fabric looks like!
And soon you’ll be able to start working on our 101 Maple Street quilt if it’s on your list for this year! Mine was quilted by Sandy Pluff from Iowa. Didn’t she do a great job? Thank you, Sandy!
Here’s a bit of trivia about the name of this fabric line and quilt…I searched Google for 101 Maple Street and found a similar address in almost half the states! For around $10,923,556 in San Francisco to $795,999 in Yonkers, New York and every price in between you too could live on Maple Street. I’d love to live on Maple Street if I could be guaranteed of having tons of maple trees! Somehow I don’t think I’m going to get my husband to move.
If you’re a quilt shop doing 101 Maple Street as a block of the month, or if you have extra kits, please send me an email with your shop information. I’m trying to put together a list.

My first home had a backyard that was a quail expressway. Just lasr week I had to sit in my car waiting for an entire family of them to cross the street while going to my friends house to quilt! Now on this quilt!!! Guess I better add this quilt to my list!Once again a lovely quilt pattern and fabrics!!!

So cute–I know the box will be adorable too! I still can’t get over the swinging fox–makes me smile every time I see him (or her?)!

This is SO tempting! Each time you show us this darling fabric line and pattern, I immediately try to figure out a way to incorporate it into my overflowing quilting schedule. You probably won’t be surprised to know that three of my ‘really gotta finish’ projects are your patterns (they are all timeless), and I’m still trying to find a minute to start Tiny Town which just might be my absolute favorite of all :)
