ta da! announcing the mini charm winners

When Moda sends me sample yardage to make my quilts, they also include several mini charms, a layer cake, a fat quarter bundle and a fat eighth bundle.  One of the first things I do when my fabric arrives is to open up a mini charm pack and tape each fabric square onto a plain white tag.  Then I add a label with the SKU numbers and fabric names.  Once I tie on the ribbon, I feel grounded.  I’m ready to start sewing!  Just looking at the collection of these tags, makes me feel inspired and ready to sew!  I’ve done this with every Moda fabric collection I’ve designed.

I hope the winners of our mini charm contest, will take the time to open up one of the mini charm packs and spread it out to see all the fabrics!  I promise you this will inspire you to start sewing!  Do this just before you look through your new Mini Charm Quilts book!

Nothing feels better than giving things away!  I think I get as excited as you do, especially when it comes to new books and mini charms.  So here we go, the announcement of my two three winners!  Yes, three of you are going to win!  You are giving me a “feel good” day!

Finally a book with sweet designs just for those two, (yes, only 2) mini charm packs I bought. A friend gave me a mini quilt for Christmas, which I hung on a clipboard and placed in a very narrow space between cabinets and window. And, I have been thinking since then what a fun place to hang seasonal mini’s. Really liked a number of designs in the book. Thanks for this opportunity.

Becki, time to add to your mini charm stash.  Maybe you’ll become a collector like the rest of us!

How marvelous!  What a great charity.  They have dogs in courts now to help people giving evidence stay calm.  Gotta love an animal.

Megan, I didn’t know about the dogs in courts, but what a super idea.  I read that they had over 40 dogs at the Florida school when it re-opened on Monday to comfort the kids.  When I think of the dogs that are being rescued for this purpose it really puts a smile on my face!

I am a beginner and don’t have a lot of room to craft, so these mini charms would be great.  I would love to live on Peppermint Lane!

Karen, Peppermint Lane is a good quilt for a beginner.  I hope you enjoy making this quilt and that you’ll enjoy it every year when you hang it for Christmas!

Congratulations ladies!  Email me your shipping information through this blog, and I’ll get your prize in the mail.

Oh, and one more thing to tell you.  When you get this book, and you turn to page 83, my binge-watching shows have changed since it was written!  My favorite shows now are “The Good Doctor,” “This is Us,” and “Victoria.”

Thank you Martingale for another great book!  You make our quilting life a lot more fun!

Anne
