Acorns and Roses
Two weeks before Thanksgiving and in California we have acorns falling and roses blooming. Feels normal for November. I set off for the farmer’s market this morning with my camera in hand.
Our Farmer’s Market is open for one more weekend believe it or not.
There’s one more photo I took today…
I’m making receiving blankets and burp cloths for my new granddaughter who’s due to arrive in February. Lily will have a new little sister soon!
Back soon,
Anne

The only thing that is growing in Newfoundland, Canada is snow balls. They started yesterday.

Congratulations on your new baby granddaughter on the way! Your life is filled with ‘little women’, how wonderful. I love the sock monkey fabric (who doesn’t?), made pajamas and matching overnight bags for my granddaughters a few years ago. Have fun sewing for the new baby :)

Hi Anne,
What a great idea bringing your camera along on your farmer’s market trip this day. I truly love the carrot’s photo, they are looking yummy. Some look like a variety I am not familiar with All your photos, the brightness made them all simply tempting to eat right now. hehe Don’t I wish. The berries, this must be your second of the season??
Anyway thanks for sharing with all of us.
Wow, this is going to call for more trips across the pond, another little body soon to be on your lap. How wonderful.
Enjoy every minute with your family. Patricia

Congrats to big sister Lily, I am sure she’s going to love being a big sis!
Love the colours in your pics, and it has been a strange season seeing all kinds of blooms at the wrong time.
The fabric in the burp cloths is adorable, how cute.
