Oh my!
It’s been one of those weeks… My trip to Austin was delayed for 7 hours. The plane had mechanical trouble and I sat in the airport all day (not complaining because they discovered it while on the ground). If you didn’t get a call from me to chit chat it’s because I didn’t have your number! If you did get a call I’m sorry! I can talk a lot when I’m killing time. My embroidery was packed in my suitcase, not my carry on bag. Free time and nothing to sew! Learned my lesson on that one I hope. Retreat was wonderful and I finished embroidering my letter “S”! …

Texas…
I’m leaving tomorrow for Texas and I’ll be spending time in Austin with friends! I’m going to a girls retreat; you know one of those sew, talk, sew, eat, and did I say sew? I can hardly wait! How long has it been since you’ve treated yourself to a little getaway time? Maybe you should! Get some friends together, find a place to visit and sew for the weekend. So what am I working on? Treasures
I’ve been shopping over at Dreamy Whites and I have to show you what I bought! I may have to have to start making cookies for the UPS man. He’s been hauling the strangest size boxes up to the door. I LOVE Maria’s blog “Dreamy Whites” and I love her decorating style but most of all I just can’t resist her shop. How many people does it take to make a quilt?
In the case of Raining Cats & Dogs it took 13 people to finally get the pattern ready to ship! Gaby’s Quilt
I received the sweetest email today from a girl named Gaby…her mom made her a quilt and she wanted to share a photo with me! Gaby and her mom picked out my Cream and Sugar pattern. Night at the Ritz
I’ve always wanted to make a two color quilt and the new gray and ivory in Puttin’ on the Ritz fabric just called to me! lately I find myself adding a lot of white and gray to my decorating so why not to a quilt?
