• Henrietta Goes Blog Hopping

How would you like to win this Henrietta Squirrel?  You might if you hop on over to Pretty By Hand blog and tell Kristyne which of my patterns is your all time favorite!  She’s not only giving away this squirrel, but some of my Petite Patterns too! I found Kristyne’s blog a few weeks before market and fell in love with it.   At market we met for the first time and I liked her instantly.  Take a look at our business cards… Destined to be friends don’t you think? Now, here’s where I’m going tomorrow! Holly Hill Quilt Shoppe There’s a FARM HOUSE inside their shop!  How cute is this? …

  • Quilt Market was fun!

Henrietta climbs up the Eiffel Tower in the Bunny Hill Booth! It’s a good thing she did or she might have been sold as a sample.  Poor squirrel. The Eiffel tower that Henrietta’s climbing came from Restoration Hardware Baby and I used it as a prop in our booth.  It’s a card or photo holder so I put it in the crib and collected business cards.  One lucky shop owner is going to win a Bunny Hill gift. My new fabric Ooh La La, was made into crib bedding… …and the vintage crib with it’s chipped paint made an appearance again.. Of course we had quilts in our booth… …for…

  • Quilt Market Color

International Quilt Market is always so exciting!  Twice a year unbelievable talent comes together under one roof and you can’t help but be inspired!  Walking the aisles = mind overload;  new things are everywhere.  Getting away from my booth to see things can be challenging but oh so much fun!  My focus this time was on color…beautiful, beautiful color…   Can you stand it?  Don’t you want to just dig your hands into those buttons and cut yourself some trims?  I got carried away in the Valdani booth with all that pearl cotton and floss.  I may have to get a job working for Valdani just so I can get…

  • Pumpkin Pie on a Quilt

Pumpkin Pie on a quilt?  It’s acceptable if it’s baked in a Moda Dottie green pie dish with at least one blackbird in the pie.  Oh, one more thing…you have to sing “Sing a Song of Sixpence” while you make this quilt.  If you don’t know the song better Google it. Pumpkin Pie is made from “Basics”! The quilt is made mostly from Moda Basics so you should easily be able to find the fabric!  I’ve put a color fabric guide inside the pattern and also on my website to make your shopping easy.   Wouldn’t it be fun to make this quilt and put your favorite pumpkin pie recipe on…

  • Ooh La La!

This fall Bunny Hill has gone to Paris!  Well, not really but some of my newest fabric line, Ooh La La was inspired by my trip to Paris last year.  Ooh La La was designed to coordinate with Puttin’ on the Ritz so if you start with one line you can easily carry over into the next.  This time I’ve added French words, silver spoons (has to be my favorite print ever), a panel with little french houses, silver cups and spoons.  There’s a toile for baby and of course another damask.  The damask is from an 1800’s piece of wallpaper.  I’m amazed that vintage treasures like these are still…

  • Oh those French really know red!

The French know a great red when they see one and so does Kaari Meng, The French General.  When I saw her first line for Moda Fabrics called Rounenneries I fell in love.  So French, so pretty and so red!   It was almost enough to make this “pink” girl think about crossing over to the “red” side! Well Kaari’s done it again with the red in Rounenneries Deux.  Her fabric always sings to me and this time it’s been singing about snowmen.  I’ve been surrounded by Rounenneires Deux for awhile now.  I’ve played with it, starched it, stitched with it,  cut it up and then sewn it back together and I…
