• Henrietta is Back!

It’s March 5th can you believe it?  Henrietta’s back in block number 3 of my Henrietta Whiskers mystery quilt.  She’s been working away to entice you to join us!  How can you resist those little acorns in her cart?  I can’t wait to show you how she looks when she’s quilted!  She left for the quilter yesterday and she’ll be home before too long.  I’ll update you with the photos of the quilted blocks as soon as I have them! The fabric for Henrietta, Lilac Hill and Antique Fair should be in quilt shops soon, if not already!  I know it seems like it’s taking forever, but at least you’ve…

  • Is it the 5th yet?

I rushed around like crazy yesterday trying to get things done. Have you ever had one of those weeks where you can’t remember what day it is?  I thought today was March 5th and I rushed to get my newsletter done and even posted block three of Henrietta!   When I realized today is only the 4th I decided to leave block three up.   You get the pattern early because I don’t know what day it is! Mooch watched me all day trying to figure out why on earth I was rushing around. Wonder what Mooch was thinking? Never mind, I think I know… Today will be a better…

  • Henrietta and Snowbound

Time for a “Snowbound”,  the charity pattern update!  Most of you downloaded this pattern last year when it was free so I was delightfully surprised when some of you still purchased it in the name of your beloved pets, or just to help an animal in need.  I’m amazed by your generosity.  “Snowbound” is only being offered through Bunny Hill and not our distributors so quilt shops have to call us directly to order. Maybe one of your local shops have purchased this pattern.  If so, I think they deserve a round of applause and if you happen to frequent them a little more often I’m sure they would be…

  • Pillow Talk

I just found out that Lissa, our great leader has a blog post with a giveaway!    Go there now and sign up for her giveaway.  She doesn’t say what it is, but she is MODA!!!!  Hmmm, maybe I’ll sign up! I’ve been designing with my new fabric line and I don’t have any fabric yet!  I’m still waiting for fabric to arrive so in order to get a head start I’m working digitally.  I use a software program called Adobe Illustrator and I can actually scan my drawings, trace them directly on my “oh so fancy Wacom monitor”, and insert the fabrics into the drawings.  It gives me an idea…

  • Countdown for Pillow Talk

Can you believe only 3 more designers left?  I’ve loved going to each blog and reading about all the designers and I hope you have too! Today is Sandy Klop of American Jane fame.  I’ve known Sandy for years and yes, she’s as sweet as she looks!  She has the cutest house you’ve ever seen and it’s decorated in American Jane style.  She had two couches upholstered in one of the Moda fabrics that she designed and they are adorable!  I’m keeping my fingers crossed that she shows you part of her home. If not maybe we could all ask for a tour…she’s opened her home before for a quilter’s…

  • More fluff and stuff

I’ll confess, I fell for it.  I believed Sandy Gervais could paint with her toes.  I spent about 3 minutes trying to imagine it and by that time I was at the end of her post.  If you are as gullible as me we could go together and buy the real estate she’s selling!  It’s not so far fetched because my DH can pick up pencils and things with his toes.  I’m not really proud of him for this trait but I didn’t find out about it until after we were married! Today is Laurie & Jessi Jung day on Pillow Talk!   You’re in for a treat because everything…
