Exciting New Aurifil Thread

The world of applique just got more exciting because Aurifil is introducing a new 80 wt. thread at Fall Quilt Market!   Can you imagine a thread from Aurifil intended specifically for applique?  I’ve had the exciting task of testing this thread and I actually used it to stitch my bunny block for The Splendid Sampler.  I’m in love with it!

I used it for some English Paper Piecing and loved it even more.  With color and quality as only Aurifil can do, this 80wt. thread is the perfect companion for applique.   It stitches like a dream.  They’re going to start with a selection of 88 colors!

There’s only one place you can buy this thread before market.  It’s available from my friend Kimberly over at The Fat Quarter Shop!  She has 36 of the colors available now, in six collections. Over the next few months she’ll be telling you about each one.  It’s an applique event you don’t want to miss.
