• Choosing Fabric for Snow Happy Hearts

    It’s 8 days and counting until the next heart pattern is here.  I hope you’re excited!  Here’s a little hint for the Snow Happy Hearts  theme for February;  you can use it as a Valentine, and you may want to make more than one. Some of you have asked about the heart fabrics for the rest of the year.  Here’s what I’ve selected from Mistletoe Lane:  February is the pretty pink plaid at the top left, and December is the red snowflakes on the bottom right.  When you’re choosing fabrics, just make sure they look good together.  You may want to use them in a garland, or to decorate a tree.  If you like the look…

  • Snow Happy Hearts Club

    Our Snow Happy Hearts Club starts today!  You’ll find Miss January in our newsletter, on our website and right here in this blog.   She’s a sweet little snow angel, the first of 12 “snowmen”.   • Happy January 3rd!

    Organizing in 2015 Just three days into the New Year and I can feel the excitement.  I’ve been reading so many good blog posts on how to get organized,  de-cluttered and make life simpler. My favorite posts have come from The Inspired Room. Melissa breaks everything down into doable things and she makes me want to get started right away.  I have to admit when I walked into our pantry this morning, I turned right around and walked back out.  I’m missing the one thing I need…a scheduled day to pull everything out and start over.
