Celebrating early
I just returned from a wonderful trip to Germany with my granddaughters. I took Michaela, Alyssa and Diana (my daughter-in-law) with me for 8 days of relaxing fun with Lily. We made memories to last a lifetime and it was so good to get away. Now that I’m back, we’ve decided to celebrate the 4th of July early this year! Bitsy Button Sutton
I knew the day would come when we had to say goodbye to our sweet Bitsy. But time caught all of us by surprise this week, as she went into severe kidney failure. We couldn’t turn it around. We said goodbye to her yesterday, and she died in my arms. I would have gone with her if I could have. She was our companion, a best friend and she gave us unconditional love. I feel so empty now that she is gone, like my heart has been hollowed. I see her everywhere. Chelsea and Mooch were her friends and I know the house must feel empty for them too. When…

Halloween Fabric
Look at this yummy fabric I just got from Renee Nanneman of Need’l Love fame. Candy Corn and Black Magic, two bundles on my design table now, thanks to her. I love it so much I almost hate to open the bundles, but I’ve been dreaming up some applique bats and this is the perfect fabric. Hummm wonder what else I can dream up quickly.
