Happy Spring!
Happy spring everyone! For the first time in ages I got outside for a bit today and look at what’s happening in my yard! Roses are everywhere! I have a section filled with lavender and it smells so heavenly. There’s nothing I like better than garden roses and the scent of fresh lavender. Who knew such beauties were filling my yard? Certainly not me, I’ve been at the computer for days working on new patterns! But tomorrow we’ll be celebrating Easter with our grandchildren. Happy Dance Quilt
Some quilts just make me happy! That’s how I felt when I saw Irene Baldock’s version of “A Tisket, A Tasket”. Irene lives in the UK and sent a photo of her finished quilt. Happy April 5th!
Can you believe it’s April 5th? It’s Henrietta Whiskers day here at Bunny Hill! I have a drop in class today for Henrietta Whiskers at In-Between Stitches in Livermore, California. The nicest group of ladies attend and today I’m doing a demo on machine applique. Have you tried machine applique using DMC machine embroidery 50 wt. thread? It’s so much fun, and of course really, really fast! If you don’t have the DMC thread see if you have any Mettler 60wt. and then click on my tutorial section. Excitement is running high this week at Bunny Hill! Puttin’ on the Ritz advance yardage has arrived! I don’t know who’s more excited about the arrival me or Mooch! Mooch is really attracted to this fabric line and I think it might have something to do with the beautiful gray color.
