• Let’s Make 101 Maple Street!

I was visiting Lori Holt’s blog and saw how she walks you through each of her quilt blocks.  It really seems helpful and I’m not sure why I never thought of doing this myself.  I’ve put it in my memory banks for my next block of the month. Right now I’m waiting on fabric to arrive for my next market line and I have some down time in-between projects.  I thought I’d give you some tips and pointers on 101 Maple Street.  If you’re making 101 Maple Street as a block of the month from a quilt shop, your life is going to be easy!  Each month the shop will hand you the fabrics you…

Moda does it best!  I love designing fabrics for them, and every time a new Bunny Hill line ships from Moda I get excited.  There’s nothing like seeing bolts and pre-cuts arrive at my door. 101 Maple Street is finally here, and our website is filled with bundles, charm packs, mini charms and of course quilt kits! I love starting a new applique quilt, and if you do too, we can help!  Henrietta is ready to add her magic touch to your fall projects. If you pre-ordered a 101 Maple Street Quilt Kit we are shipping them this week. Like most of you, I am a fabric nut, and I buy other designers…

  • Peeps help me design

Yesterday my husband bought me my favorite Easter treat!  PEEPS!  Two packages of yellow chicks.  I consumed one box right away, I just couldn’t help myself.  I’m trying to have control with the other package, make myself eat only one at a time, ok two at a time, but at least sit down at my desk and eat them slowly.  It’s really tough!  I love these little things, and I only get them once a year!  The thing no one knows is that Peeps actually help me design!  They’re my comfort candy.  And I’ve been doing a LOT of designing.  It’s a good thing the stores are filled with Peeps!  …

  • we have winners!

I wish I could make everyone who entered the Moda/Bunny Hill contest a winner!  There were so many cute stockings it was really hard to choose! And because there were so many great entries I added four runner-ups for a total of seven winners!  I’ll be shipping prizes out all week! So here we go, are you ready?  First place winner is Shannon Cogswell from Fullerton, California Shannon entered way more blocks than this one, each as special as the one before.  I selected her mouse not only for its cuteness but also because it’s going to look so ADORABLE in our surprise mystery quilt!   We’re re-making her block using…
