• Spooky Delights Table Runner Part Two

Are you ready for the fun stuff this week?  It’s time for some sewing with Spooky Delights featured on the Jolly Jabber Blog today.  You may have to scroll down but yes, you’ll find the next part of the pattern for the table runner I designed.  You can stitch to your heart’s content.  Should be just enough sewing to get you through the week and then by next Monday, Kimberly will be back with the border instructions. Be sure and follow the group of bloggers who are making this runner.  They’ll be done with their versions before you know it.  Follow along and you could be too!  Think how great it will feel to have a…

  • Moda Blog Hop!

Welcome to day one of the Moda BLOG hop! Moda assigned me the letter B and soon B’s were all I could think about.  I had the biggest urge to pick up Barbara Brackman’s book and look for blocks beginning with B, like Basket, Broken Dishes, Birds in the Air, Bear Paw, Bethlehem Star, and Bird of Paradise.  It’s enough to drive me BATTY. So instead I got out of bed and biked into Berkeley, wearing baggy burlap bell bottoms, to pick up backing, binding, borders, batting and beige buttons for a baby quilt.  On the way home I bumped into Barbara, Barry, and Billy who were bragging about Bob’s…

  • Chloe is a traveling dog

Chloe is waiting to go home with one of you.  I finally time to pick the winner this morning (actually, I let random.org pick the winner). #23 is Liz Morgan!  Liz, Chloe will be coming to you this week.  She’s got some great signatures and I hope you enjoy her! Moda won best booth! The competition at quilt market is fierce.  It takes a ton of creativity and teamwork to pull together a winning booth and Moda did it!   This trailer was part of the booth and it was so darn cute!  The curtains and accessories were made from “Glamping” by Mary Jane Butters of Mary Jane’s Farm . …

  • Twenty of you get a prize!

Today is Fig Tree Day on the Moda Blog Hop Country Fair! Go, go, go and download the cutest chicken scratch ever! Oh my goodness how many comments did you say there were?  Chelsea calculated out that if she had $1 for every comment, she’d be able to buy enough dog treats to last for several years!    I told her we didn’t have any room to store them and a dog treat obsession isn’t a good one to have…now a fabric obsession is another story.  If I just had one fat quarter for every comment… Chelsea and I are dreamers for sure… So let’s get to the fun! If you…
