This Little Pig Went To Market
This little pig went to market…Quilt Market of course. Her name is Tiffany and she’ll be boarding the plane for Houston this morning. I hope she got a bit more sleep than I did. I can’t have a cranky pig at market. :>) With a curled up tail and a bow around her tummy, she’s ready to meet and greet and she’ll be doing lots of that this weekend. Tiffany is my newest Petite pattern. My granddaughter Alyssa is the hand model for Tiffany. Didn’t she do a great job? Hope Miss Tiffany has a smooth flight. We’ll have a few of her friends for sale at Sample Spree during…

Kansas City Quilt Market
I’m home and it feels so good. Kansas City was a wonderful host but there’s no place like home. We spent 6 days in the Kansas City Convention Center in downtown Kansas City and I feel like I only know a teeny bit! It’s huge and goes on for several blocks. The downtown area is surrounded by tall buildings with many styles of architecture. Of course the old buildings are always my favorite. Sample Spree at any quilt market is a shopping frenzy. People line up hours in advance to get in. This was only the start of the line and it went on forever! Quilter’s can shop like no…

Going to market
Lily the Elephant and Gerry Giraffe are going to Quilt market in Kansas City! They’ll be at Sample Spree on Thursday night waiting for new homes. The fabric of course is Windsor Lane! Gerry & Lily are new petite patterns. I thought maybe I could get the patterns on the website before market but I’ve run out of time. I’ll list all the new patterns right after I get back. I’ll have lots of market pictures to share too! Wish you could all come with me. Have a great week everyone! I’ll be back next week. Hugs, Anne

What’s cooking at Bunny Hill?
Moda’s introducing something new with my Windsor Lane fabric line…Junior Jelly Rolls! They are just the cutest, little, petite, baby Jelly Rolls ever. They’re half the size of a regular Jelly Roll and half the price too! I took a minute from sewing today to take a picture of “Junior” for you. There I was in the front yard with my little pink cake stand, a pink Junior Jelly Roll, bench, camera and tripod, oblivious to the fact that my image was reflecting in the cake stand in every photo. Photographer extraordinaire, that’s me. It’s just been one of those days. LOL! What else is cooking at Bunny Hill? …

Quilt Market was fun!
Henrietta climbs up the Eiffel Tower in the Bunny Hill Booth! It’s a good thing she did or she might have been sold as a sample. Poor squirrel. The Eiffel tower that Henrietta’s climbing came from Restoration Hardware Baby and I used it as a prop in our booth. It’s a card or photo holder so I put it in the crib and collected business cards. One lucky shop owner is going to win a Bunny Hill gift. My new fabric Ooh La La, was made into crib bedding… …and the vintage crib with it’s chipped paint made an appearance again.. Of course we had quilts in our booth… …for…

Quilt Market Color
International Quilt Market is always so exciting! Twice a year unbelievable talent comes together under one roof and you can’t help but be inspired! Walking the aisles = mind overload; new things are everywhere. Getting away from my booth to see things can be challenging but oh so much fun! My focus this time was on color…beautiful, beautiful color… Can you stand it? Don’t you want to just dig your hands into those buttons and cut yourself some trims? I got carried away in the Valdani booth with all that pearl cotton and floss. I may have to get a job working for Valdani just so I can get…
