a million little crystals
The snow is sparkling like a million little crystals. You’ll find these words on the selvage of Crystal Lane, my next fabric line for Moda. It’s one I’ve fallen in love with because next to pink, my favorite color is French Blue! In shades of Crystal Blue, Winter White, and a touch of Nutmeg, Crystal Lane will take you into the Winter season of 2021. It’s a time for crisp mornings and cold nights, cold toes, and cold noses. Crystal Lane ships to quilt shops in April of 2021, and I’ve got lots of new patterns to go with it! I’ll show you all the new patterns this week, starting…

Our January Sale!
Happy New Year! I don’t know about you, but I always take some time the first week of January to clean out and re-distribute. It feels so good to go through things and think about what I might need for future projects and what can be donated. My studio can quickly become a mess after one series of patterns finishes up and another one begins. I’m still working on my patterns for Merry Merry Snow Days, but they are close to being finished! I finally got photos taken just before Christmas, thanks to my photographer Gregory Case. I hope you can see how cute this one looks! My quilter, Becky Hubel, did an amazing job! Once…

They can ice-skate too, and when they hit the slopes with their snowman friends it becomes a magical event! Welcome to Merry Merry Snow Days, my newest block of the month and quilt kit from Moda! This is such a fun quilt to make and starting in April (when the fabric ships) I’ll be giving you kit tips and ideas for applique and embroidery.
