• Bundles & Kits Only

The studio still looks like a quilt shop and Brigette and I have spent hours cutting fabric.    I love fabric, especially my own, but over the past few weeks I’ve come to realize that if I’m helping cut fabric I’m not designing!  If I keep selling fabric I’ll have to move Bunny Hill to a warehouse and Brigette is protesting strongly.  She doesn’t like the thought of working in a warehouse!  We love working in the studio together! Here I am cutting fabric and still smiling (photo courtesy of Quilter’s Home Magazine and Gregory Case Photography). See those pre-cuts on the right?  They take up little space, they don’t have…

  • Jelly Roll Winners!

One thing for sure I learned from all your comments;  we all love fabric!   Doesn’t matter if it comes in a roll or on a bolt we just love it!   Many of you consider it precious enough to save every scrap!  Some of you like Vicky, over at LA Quilter (one of my favorite blogs), even keep track of how much you have!    I’m in love with all of you!  Fabric hoarders are also fabric buyers at one time or another.  You are the reason this industry will continue to grow! So Pink or Blue? You get to decide!  If you see your name listed below you’ll be getting a…

  • Love those Jelly Rolls!

I’m in love with Jelly Rolls.  There’s just something so dang sweet about them!  Yesterday I went to the Moda web site and ta da!  My favorite Jelly Rolls appeared!  I was so surprised to see that Lily & Will were having coffee hot chocolate with Moda! If you like to play with Jelly Rolls go to the Moda website for the new Jelly Roll Dream Challenge!  Here’s your chance to design a Jelly Roll quilt and win big!  Enter the contest and you might win a Janome sewing machine not to mention a lot of fame.    It’s “sew” easy and so much fun!  Remember you can download the…

  • Shopping!

I’ve been busy loading the web site with all kinds of new things!  Lily & Will have arrived and we have Moda boxes all over the studio!  Brigette’s in charge of making kits and she’s having way too much fun with all the fabric!  She’ll be cutting away and I’ll hear her say “oh my, I may have to get myself some of this”.  She’s talking about owning every piece of fabric that comes through the door and I’m in charge of keeping her sane.  It’s kind of like being a kid in a candy shop. Brigette’s been busy making all these Park Lane quilt kits that are waiting to…

  • Lily & Will have a sister & brother!

Sis is yellow and brother is aqua!  How’s that for the perfect siblings?  It’s been heaven the last few weeks having these fabrics to play with!  I am in love with these colors! This is Lily & Will II in yummy yellow and aqua!  Yards and yards of this fabric have been made into quilts in a very short time.  There’s so much more I wanted to do, but we ran out of time.  Quilt Market is next week and everything has to be done now! Three of the four quilts we had time to make are for baby, but this fabric is for any age!  I want a bed…

  • Purple, Yellow and Orange

Purple, yellow and orange?  Who would have thought these are carrots!  I’ve been munching away all weekend on yellow and purple carrots!  They are yummy!  Amazing thing, when you bite into the purple carrot it’s purple on the outside and orange in the center!  Heirloom carrots?  Maybe!  Farmer’s market carrots for sure and those farmers are pretty smart.  Wouldn’t Peter Rabbit love these? Yesterday Margot from The Pattern Basket emailed to tell me she she designed a quilt using my Lily & Will fabric! I was so excited because  I love everything that Margot does.  She has a great style and sense of design and it was such an honor…
