• Kansas City Quilt Market

I’m home and it feels so good.  Kansas City was a wonderful host but there’s no place like home.   We spent 6 days in the Kansas City Convention Center in downtown Kansas City and I feel like I only know a teeny bit!  It’s huge and goes on for several blocks. The downtown area is surrounded by tall buildings with many styles of architecture. Of course the old buildings are always my favorite. Sample Spree at any quilt market is a shopping frenzy.  People line up hours in advance to get in.  This was only the start of the line and it went on forever!  Quilter’s can shop like no…

  • Going to market

Lily the Elephant and Gerry Giraffe are going to Quilt market in Kansas City!  They’ll be at Sample Spree on Thursday night waiting for new homes.  The fabric of course is Windsor Lane! Gerry & Lily are new petite patterns. I thought maybe I could get the patterns on the website before market but I’ve run out of time.  I’ll list all the new patterns right after I get back.  I’ll have lots of market pictures to share too!  Wish you could all come with me. Have a great week everyone!  I’ll be back next week. Hugs, Anne

  • What’s cooking at Bunny Hill?

Moda’s introducing something new with my Windsor Lane fabric line…Junior Jelly Rolls!  They are just the cutest, little, petite, baby Jelly Rolls ever.  They’re half the size of a regular Jelly Roll and half the price too!  I took a minute from sewing today to take a picture of “Junior” for you.  There I was in the front yard with my little pink cake stand, a pink Junior Jelly Roll, bench, camera and tripod, oblivious to the fact that my image was reflecting in the cake stand in every photo.  Photographer extraordinaire, that’s me.   It’s just been one of those days.  LOL! What else is cooking at Bunny Hill? …

  • Wrapped Up in Fabric

Windsor Lane is in the studio!  The colors remind me of a candy store!  Just yummy! There’s a scripted alphabet in four different colors and a paisley that will make you go crazy!   I’m wrapped up in fabric and loving every minute.  I can’t wait to show you more! There is someone in the studio who hates it when I get new fabric… Chelsea’s feeling so neglected I might have to make her a Windsor Lane treat  :>) Back soon with more to show! Anne

  • Ooh La La!

This fall Bunny Hill has gone to Paris!  Well, not really but some of my newest fabric line, Ooh La La was inspired by my trip to Paris last year.  Ooh La La was designed to coordinate with Puttin’ on the Ritz so if you start with one line you can easily carry over into the next.  This time I’ve added French words, silver spoons (has to be my favorite print ever), a panel with little french houses, silver cups and spoons.  There’s a toile for baby and of course another damask.  The damask is from an 1800’s piece of wallpaper.  I’m amazed that vintage treasures like these are still…

  • Twenty of you get a prize!

Today is Fig Tree Day on the Moda Blog Hop Country Fair! Go, go, go and download the cutest chicken scratch ever! Oh my goodness how many comments did you say there were?  Chelsea calculated out that if she had $1 for every comment, she’d be able to buy enough dog treats to last for several years!    I told her we didn’t have any room to store them and a dog treat obsession isn’t a good one to have…now a fabric obsession is another story.  If I just had one fat quarter for every comment… Chelsea and I are dreamers for sure… So let’s get to the fun! If you…
