Halloween could be spooky cute this year!
Happy end of September, and welcome to October!
Spooky Halloween
Finally, we’ve made Spooky Halloween available in PDF downloadable format! This pattern from Bunny Hill combines piecing and applique, and it’s so much fun to make! It’s a quilt your family will enjoy year after year! The featured fabric is Spooky Delights from Bunny Hill and Moda Fabrics. Spooky Delights fabrics have been out for a while and are getting harder to find, but we’ve included a color fabric guide, making it easy to substitute fabrics. Take your fabric guide to the quilt shop and search for Halloween fabrics in similar colors and “look.” If you’re a Halloween lover, chances are you may have plenty of fabric in your stash to pull from! I love quilts with pieced blocks and applique, and I think you will, too. Nothing boring about Spooky Halloween! The finished quilt measures 46″ x 53″. Postcard Cuties for Halloween
If you love Halloween Jelly Rolls, you’re in luck because our Postcard Cuties for Halloween quilt is made from a jelly roll and a bit of yardage! There are some really cute Jelly Rolls right now, and my favorite is Hey Boo by Lella Boutique and Moda Fabrics. You can still find these Jelly Rolls, charm packs, and yardage at quilt shops and online. I’ve just made this pattern into a downloadable PDF pattern and you can find it here on our website!
Here’s another idea for this quilt: Why not try it as an orange work quilt? Look how cute these embroideries are in simple orange floss! I love two-color quilts, and for an orange work, you need assorted shades of orange, cream, and maybe a touch of pink!
Tiggy
If you’re looking for a quick gift or decoration for Halloween, why not bring home a new kitty? Tiggy is quick and easy to make; you can finish her in a day! The pattern includes instructions for making her wool pumpkin, too! Here’s a link to our Tiggy PDF pattern.
Pumpkinville
I recently made Pumpkinville into a PDF pattern for those of you who never had the chance to make this quilt. This was so much fun to design, and it’s always been one of my favorites! When the idea of a pumpkin town popped into my head, it kept multiplying, and soon, the town of Pumpkinville was born. You can find this as a downloadable PDF pattern on my website.
It’s almost time to get ready for those trick-or-treaters, everyone! Working on a few Halloween sewing projects will put you in the mood! Believe it or not, my granddaughters in Germany go trick-or-treating too! Halloween may not be “big” in Germany, but it’s starting to catch on!
Have a wonderful week!

Hi Anne,
Sorry for the late comment….I nearly missed seeing this post! Once again you’ve managed to create some adorable new and festive decorations for the season. I love the colors of fall and Halloween, especially the way you’ve presented them.
