Make a List for 2018!
Chelsea and I each made a bucket list back in 2011, and I found a copy of it today. Six years later and we haven’t completed much on our list. Chelsea’s still waiting for her pink convertible, and I’m still trying to organize my photos.
The beautiful thing about this list is that it’s New Year’s Eve and we have another full year to complete it! I told her I think we need to review and set more realistic goals for 2018. She keeps reminding me that she’s getting older and wants to update her list with things like a fluffy new bed.
She’s been lounging around today watching me fill up my market basket with goodies to give away tomorrow.
The basket is bursting at the seams, and I can hardly lift it! I’ve been collecting things all year, and there are 12 bags of treats inside! We’re going to pick 12 winners tomorrow, and each one is going to get a treat bag!
All you have to do to win is leave me a comment telling me if you’ve ever done a bucket list. Do you think it’s a good idea to do a yearly bucket list? One that you can review at the end of each year to see how much you’ve accomplished? Do you have any other ideas for organizing in 2018?
Chelsea and I will be back tomorrow with a list of 12 winners.
Happy New Year’s Eve!

I’ve never actually written down a bucket list but I have some ideas of what would be on mine. Maybe that should be my first task in 2018! Happy New Year Anne and Chelsea!!

I made my bucket list (not a yearly one) a long time ago. It is posted on my refrigerator where I can look at it and be inspired. I’ve marked off a couple of things. I am now 74 and probably won’t get to see the Northern Lights again as I did as a child in the summer on the shores of Lake Mendota in Madison, WI (#1 on my list). Most of the things I will most likely never do, but the list still makes me smile and makes me hopeful. I am glad I made the list and I think everyone should make one for themselves.

I have an informal bucket list that I keep in my head. Some things never get fully checked off (i.e. “Be a better/kinder person” – I think there is always room for improvement) – in 2017 I wS able to check off going to Green Bay to see the Ravens play the Packers.
No other organizing ideas, except that I need to downsize my quilting/crafting supplies.
Happy New Year!
