Make a List for 2018!
Chelsea and I each made a bucket list back in 2011, and I found a copy of it today. Six years later and we haven’t completed much on our list. Chelsea’s still waiting for her pink convertible, and I’m still trying to organize my photos.
The beautiful thing about this list is that it’s New Year’s Eve and we have another full year to complete it! I told her I think we need to review and set more realistic goals for 2018. She keeps reminding me that she’s getting older and wants to update her list with things like a fluffy new bed.
She’s been lounging around today watching me fill up my market basket with goodies to give away tomorrow.
The basket is bursting at the seams, and I can hardly lift it! I’ve been collecting things all year, and there are 12 bags of treats inside! We’re going to pick 12 winners tomorrow, and each one is going to get a treat bag!
All you have to do to win is leave me a comment telling me if you’ve ever done a bucket list. Do you think it’s a good idea to do a yearly bucket list? One that you can review at the end of each year to see how much you’ve accomplished? Do you have any other ideas for organizing in 2018?
Chelsea and I will be back tomorrow with a list of 12 winners.
Happy New Year’s Eve!

I’ve had a bucket list most of my adult life….I keep adding to it. But at this point I’m with Chelsea, a fluffy new bed would be enough. I’ve decided my photos will never be fully organized, so I’ll leave that to my kids knowing for sure it will never happen ;) Today I thought I would start the new year by organizing a room that has collected lots of random stuff. But then my husband pointed out that there’s a Harry Potter marathon on tv and even though we own the complete dvd set, we’re going to be very lazy and enjoy some movie time. Seems like a good start to the new year, since we watched The Thin Man marathon last night. Happy New Year, Anne!

I have only made mental bucket lists. I have accomplished some of the things on it, but not much. Last year, I promised myself, also, that I would quilt as many of the quilt tops that I had already made. I completed 6 or 7!! That was good for me. I will try to finish more in 2018, while also working on new quilts. I love quilt making!!!

I usually have general aims for the coming year, but usually not a concrete list. Last year I wanted to finish UFO’s and I did not get far, so today I will be sitting down to make a modest (?) list of what projects/quilts I want to complete during all of 2018. I may well add some deadlines to increase my chance of success! Good luck with yours — and Happy New Year!
