Make a List for 2018!
Chelsea and I each made a bucket list back in 2011, and I found a copy of it today. Six years later and we haven’t completed much on our list. Chelsea’s still waiting for her pink convertible, and I’m still trying to organize my photos.
The beautiful thing about this list is that it’s New Year’s Eve and we have another full year to complete it! I told her I think we need to review and set more realistic goals for 2018. She keeps reminding me that she’s getting older and wants to update her list with things like a fluffy new bed.
She’s been lounging around today watching me fill up my market basket with goodies to give away tomorrow.
The basket is bursting at the seams, and I can hardly lift it! I’ve been collecting things all year, and there are 12 bags of treats inside! We’re going to pick 12 winners tomorrow, and each one is going to get a treat bag!
All you have to do to win is leave me a comment telling me if you’ve ever done a bucket list. Do you think it’s a good idea to do a yearly bucket list? One that you can review at the end of each year to see how much you’ve accomplished? Do you have any other ideas for organizing in 2018?
Chelsea and I will be back tomorrow with a list of 12 winners.
Happy New Year’s Eve!

Just today my daughter (who lives in California) and I (who lives in Texas) discussed what was on our personal lists for the New Year. It’s funny how we have similar items to accomplish next year but different. The one thing that was very important for both of us was our promised to make more opportunities to visit by phone and in person, It’s always good to say how much we love each other in a conversation but it’s priceless to look in her eyes and hug her when saying it. <3

happy New Year to you and Chelsea. i have never made an official bucket list but make lists of unfinished quilt projects. Eventually I find the list buried under fabric and can maybe cross off one but console myself that I have started and finished projects that never made the list. This year is the “finish it year” For reals!!!lol

I haven’t done a bucket list, but have a few things that I really want to get done, sooner than later I think… I want to make a simple quilt for my young grand daughter, and finish a quilt top that my grandmother made many years ago. She sewed it all by hand with such tiny little stitches, and I treasure it so much. I think it is a good thing to write down the things that I want to get done this year, and make sure that I take time to work on them each month. Thank you for the encouragement.
