Snow Happy Hearts Club

Our Snow Happy Hearts Club starts today!  You’ll find Miss January in our newsletter, on our website and right here in this blog.   She’s a sweet little snow angel, the first of 12 “snowmen”.

Snow Happy Hearts January

I’ve had so much fun using Lisa Bongean’s Primitive Muslin Flannel  for my snowmen and I hope you do too.  It’s on back-order at Moda but you’ll find it on our website around the end of January.  If you can’t wait, you can get it directly from Primitive Gatherings (sku #1040-21).  You’ll need 1/2 yd for all the hearts.  This month’s pattern includes the General Instructions and Materials Needed for all twelve hearts.  My heart fabrics will vary each month but I’ll be using Mistletoe Lane throughout.

This is your chance to get creative and think up ways to use these hearts.  You could applique them to a 10″ or 12″ background square and make a quilt, stitch them into “mini” quilts for gifts, or use them like I have as decorations.  I can’t wait to show you all 12 hearts together!  Post your pictures on Instagram or Facebook using #snowhappyhearts so we can all see what you’ve done.

Happy New Year everyone!  I hope you enjoy the snowmen!

Hugs,

Anne

Oh Anne, the “Snow Happy Hearts” is just so adorable. You are so creative and so talented and, especially, So generous!! Thank you so much for this New Year’s gift. I can’t wait to get started on it.

I also read your earlier post about getting organized. We are having some work done at our house that has required us to have to move a lot of “stuff” and it made me realize that I really, really, really need to Get Organized and do a whole lot of editing and purging! Ugh! It makes me tired just thinking about it – but I gotta do it. The good thing though is how great it is when it’s done. Isn’t it amazing how much “stuff” we can accumulate?

Good luck and best wishes to all of us! And happy New Year to all!
