Sunshine Lily
It’s time for the 2014 Fat quarter shop mystery quilt and I’ve designed a block for it! I think you’re going to love this mystery quilt. The fabric is beautiful and well, who doesn’t love star blocks? Put the two together and you have the perfect mystery quilt.
In case you haven’t signed up yet there’s still time. You can find it at The Fat Quarter Shop. The fabric is Snowbird from Laundry Basket Quilts and when I saw this fabric I fell in love. It’s one of those fabric lines that says “you need me in your stash” LOL. Here’s a few peeks;
Love those polka dots!
Stars galore in this quilt. It’s just so pretty.
I’ve named my star block “Sunshine Lily” after my grand-daughter Lily. She’s my star for sure and she’s filled with sunshine!
She makes me smile like no one else can. She reminds me of the good things in life, like let the grass touch your toes and the world becomes your oyster!
or,
Wear silly hats, don’t worry about a few stains and love every taste of ice cream you can get.
or,
When it rains, use a purple polka dot umbrella.
or,
Go barefoot and squish the sand.
or,
Take time to walk the dog and leave your troubles behind you.
She’s my grand-daughter, filled with happiness and laughter. She’s my Sunshine Lily!

What a cutie your Lily is … my hairdresser’s first grandchild is named Lily, so I hear about another Lily frequently. She is 11 now and looks 16, yikes! Love the beautiful fabric collection … and love, love, love blue!
