Stone Bridge

We spent two days in Regensburg, Germany.  If you ever get the chance to visit Germany, Regensburg is a town to see.   To think that you can walk across the Danube River on a cobblestone bridge during the 1100’s!

Regensburg was spared during the war so the buildings are old and very charming.  We saw marks on many of the old buildings showing the water line from flooding over the years.  Many water lines were over my head and yet these beautiful buildings still stand with such charm.

The view from the old stone bridge is incredible.

Look what was waiting for us on the other side…

Cobblestone streets and UPS!  Definitely a site to see.

Shopping!  The town is filled with quaint little shops and restaurants.  We had such fun!

I love a vacation!

Gorgeous photos, Ann. Visiting Europe reminds us of how young our own country is. One can’t help but be in awe when you walk on a cobblestone road with that kind of history, to think of the footsteps that preceded yours. I love that you take photos of UPS trucks wherever you go….we do, too! About grandbabies, words are inadequate….Lily is beyond precious :)
    Thank you for sharing.
