Happy 4th!!!
Happy 4th of July everyone! Henrietta’s here a day early to help us celebrate. I hope you have a bit of time this weekend to get started on block seven. Two more blocks to go and then we’ll be onto the borders! We’re so close to finishing!
Be sure to click on the “Sewing with Kids” tab at the top if you have a little free time this weekend to spend with your child. The first project is up along with some suggestions on how to teach kids to use the sewing machine. If you have a child or a grandchild who wants to sew this is going to be so much fun! When you see this button in a blog post you’ll know I’ve posted another project.
If you’ve read about my husband’s fishing expedition I have GOOD news. Saturday was a CATCH SALMON day and he’s coming home with 45 lbs. Thank you Canada for making him so happy! Tired…but happy. They also flew the salmon back to the airport for him. He flew by helicopter, but I think the Salmon went first class. It was waiting in customs.
Have a wonderful 4th of July!
Hugs,
Anne

Happy 4th back at you! And thank you so much for sharing Henrietta with us. I’ve been meticulously saving these blocks for when I can start working on her!

We went fishing in Alaska, and caught 70 lbs of salmon, had it smoked, canned…we figured it was $12 for 4 ozs! But really, it’s one of those “priceless” events! Thanks again for Henrietta, and Happy July 4th!
p.s. I did sign up for Cats and Dogs at the Fat Quarter Shop!
