Building Blocks in Pink and Blue
Did you know that Mooch’s favorite birds were the inspiration for the pink version of “Building Blocks”?
She’s one smart cat…
…it was her idea to put birds on this quilt. She’s a bird watcher extraordinaire and a genius when she wakes up from a nap. She may look sleepy eyed but she’s been dreaming and I make sure I pay attention. You never know what she’ll dream up next.
She’s not crazy about trucks so, for the boy’s version of “Building Blocks” I was on my own. My husband once owned a old blue truck and it became the inspiration for the boy’s version of “Building Blocks”.
See easy this quilt is to make?
Enlarge the photo above and you’ll see the word fabric from “Puttin’ on the Ritz”…sweet little sayings to welcome baby!
Building blocks is one of my new Bunny Hill Baby patterns that I hope you’ll like! I designed it for Jelly Rolls and you can make it in a weekend!
Here’s the fabric requirements if you want to get started. Use your favorite jelly roll and mix up all the fabrics when you stitch up the blocks. It’s part of the fun!
Mooch will be back to introduce you to another new pattern called “Night at the Ritz”. I think she’s been hanging around the studio too much! She’s got her paws into everything.
Hugs,
Anne

I love your new line and how well it coordinates with Mooch…she is a beautiful color and deserves to have a line of fabric designed around her ideas!

Mooch must have been the inspiration for the gray fabric in your new line.
