Love those Jelly Rolls!
I’m in love with Jelly Rolls. There’s just something so dang sweet about them! Yesterday I went to the Moda web site and ta da! My favorite Jelly Rolls appeared! I was so surprised to see that Lily & Will were having coffee hot chocolate with Moda!

I guess I have been a fraidy cat to buy jelly rolls, thinking what am I going to do with them. However, recently I am making two of the baby quilts from the Bunny Hill designs and I am thinking…”wow, wouldn’t a jelly roll be a whole lot easier!”…so I am going to try them. It is just to get out of the old mind set of always buying fabric off the bolt, and I am a cheapskate, thinking I am limited with this fabric, since it is only 2 1/2 inches wide. But honestly…I am going to change with the times.

I guess I am a waste not want not kind of gal. There is a down side to this in that I end up with toom many scrapes. I need to clear out from time to time. I have come to like to use charm squares and jelly rolls. Actually the elimimate waste.

I go back and forth. Sometimes I just need to sit down and quilt like RIGHT NOW!!!! Menopause does that to ya. But I have collected some beautiful creams and whites over the years I want to use up. I also prefer to use cotton sateen as a solid and they don’t offer that in precuts yet.
