• Fall Quilt Market

The only thing I don’t like about Fall market is the timing.  It always seems to fall over Halloween and many of us don’t get to see our kids or grand-kids dressed in all their glory.  Of course at Moda they try and make us feel like family, so we had some trick or treating going on right at market! Debbie, (chief of all things patterns) was so cute.  There I was telling her how I’d have everything ready early for spring market and she just cracked up laughing! She threatens me every year because I’m late getting things to her, but even dressed up like a witch she’s really…

  • Quilt Market Photos

Moda takes up a big section of quilt market.  Their space is a large rectangle in the center and the Moda designer’s booths surround the rectangle.  See all the crates in the background?  They are filled with all things Moda! When market opens the transformation is amazing! Here’s the Moda family getting ready to greet customers and take orders for all that beautiful Moda fabric! Our booth was right next to Blackbird Designs, who just happened to…

  • Happy Birthday Joanne!

It’s Joanne Denton’s Birthday Today! And how do I know this?  Her husband told me so when he ordered her birthday present!   Joanne’s husband Don asked me to email her to tell her that her present is on the way!  But with a husband like Don, I think Joanne deserves a marching band,  a party and cake galore!  Can you believe how sweet her husband is?  He bought her a quilt kit! 1 husband + 1 quilt kit = SUPER HUSBAND! The “Park Lane” quilt kit left here on Saturday heading to Canada!  Joanne, it’s your birthday present from your hubby Don! I hope it arrives very soon.  I’ll keep…

  • To Market and Back!

Did you miss me?  I sure missed all of you!  I feel like I’ve been gone forever!  Quilt market was fun, fun, fun but I am sure glad to be back home. I was greeted by the tail waggers club the minute I walked in the door.  Both the President and the Vice President of the tail waggers club were EXCITED to see me! When we arrived in Houston we were greeted with 90 degree weather and when we left we had 4 inches of rain and thunderstorms.  They do things extreme in Texas! So on with the photos!  Here I am, the chief  Bunny, taking the famous Pioneer Woman…
