What’s on the back of your quilt?
Do you remember this photo? Many of you were trying to figure out how I was going to use the alphabet panel you see in the background in my quilt. Just so happens this panel comes in red, blue and gray.
I fell in love with the red and here’s what I did with it!
It’s been stitched into the back of my quilt The Night Before Christmas!
You can have a panel on your quilt too! You’ll have to buy a panel of course and some fabric to go around it. Choose your favorite color! I’ve included instructions and measurements inside the pattern as an option!
While I was busy designing, Sue in Bend, Oregon was too! She sent me an email this week with a photo. I have to share it with you. Sue took a few of the Snowbound blocks and made them into this wonderful tree skirt! Take a look at this!
Sue this is so pretty! Your tree is going to look so cute you won’t be able to put any presents under it! Don’t let anyone cover up this tree skirt! Your family might not understand, but your quilter friends will!
Hope you’re all having a great week! I’ll be back with more to share soon!

Love the panel! Its fun on the back and I can think of several ways to feature it on the front of a quilt too. really looking forward to this fabric.

I love the idea for the panel! I often like them but can never think what to do with them, I don’t really want to make a quilt with one but for the backing is an awesome idea!

Oooh, that tree skirt is so cute! I ♥love♥ the red background for the snowbound blocks.
(I haven’t even made ONE Snowbound block yet :( But this has renewed my love for them for sure!)
