Cherry Blossom Time
It’s cherry blossom time and the area I live in is in full bloom. Mother nature is putting on a show!
Amazing how beautiful it is right now.
To think that in a few months these blossoms will be cherries. People will come from all over to pick the sweet fruit. The farmers will open fruit and vegetable stands, and fresh produce will be sold, picked fresh from the earth.
Mother nature knows what to do. She provides us with sweet, sweet treats.
The area I live in is new housing, surrounded by old farms. Farms with freshly ploughed rows of earth and beautiful rows of trees. It’s inspiring just to see it!
My assistant Brigette, knows most of the farmers in this area. We’ve promised ourselves some field trips as the fruit grows and the fields ripen. We’ll bring you with us!
Hope you’re all having a wonderful Sunday. Can’t believe a week has gone by! I loved watching Julie and Julia last week. Loved it! Meryl Streep deserves an award for best actress, she played the part so well. A++ for Julie & Julia. I loved reading all your comments about the movie. Tell me what you think I should watch next! I just ordered “Love Happens”. Have you seen it?

Great photos.
The Blind Side is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. I didn’t know it was a true story until the very end.

I love your patterns and have not been very well the past couple of months so I got busy on the Tisket a tasket. I got them close to half done and got the quilt part of it cut out and ready to go when I get done. Thank you for sharing. I have purchased some of your patterns too. Fun stuff.
I just got the 3rd block of the snowmen another love of mind. I love the blue embroidery in it. I did a Winter Wonderland that another designer did in red. The blue gives a illusion that its cold outside. Your quilt will keep it company next winter.
Have you seen the wind chimes made out of the forks. You twist the tines different directions and you could mix the spoons in too. I have done both. Never thought of using them in a planter or garden. It is fun. Virginia

Love the Cherry Blossom pic’s… reminds me of Japan! Such a pretty time of year.
Sooo now, movie time again… Hmmmm, have you seen The Holiday? It’s a year or two old now… but well worth the watch! Of course the old favorites of You’ve Got Mail and Sleepless In Seattle… that is if your in the mood for a good Romance…. Also, Emma, Pursuasion (sorry can’t spell… and we have no spell check here…) Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Predjudice… are all good. Bed of Roses, Two Weeks Notice, Maid In Manhatten, ….. that’s all I can think of at the moment.
Enjoy…. I like to throw one into the player and find some project in the sewing room. P.S. Tell Brigette… she did a great job on the “pink” socks! Sooo cute! I don’t knit/crochet so I do appreciate the hard work they take! And I’m with you…. I always have on my slipper socks!
