Cherry Blossom Time

It’s cherry blossom time and the area I live in is in full bloom.  Mother nature is putting on a show!

Amazing how beautiful it is right now.

To think that in a few months these blossoms will be cherries.  People will come from all over to pick the sweet fruit.  The farmers will open fruit and vegetable stands, and fresh produce will be sold, picked fresh from the earth.

Mother nature knows what to do.  She provides us with sweet, sweet treats.

The area I live in is new housing, surrounded by old farms. Farms with freshly ploughed rows of earth and beautiful rows of trees. It’s inspiring just to see it!

My assistant Brigette,  knows most of the farmers in this area.  We’ve promised ourselves some field trips as the fruit grows and the fields ripen.  We’ll bring you with us!

Hope you’re all having a wonderful Sunday.  Can’t believe a week has gone by!  I loved watching Julie and Julia last week.  Loved it!  Meryl Streep deserves an award for best actress, she played the part so well.  A++ for Julie & Julia.  I loved reading all your comments about the movie.  Tell me what you think I should watch next!  I just ordered “Love Happens”.  Have you seen it?

Oh Anne, how I envy your spring. Here in the cold Northeast we still have plenty of snow! Movie suggestions? For spring, I can’t think of any better movie than an old one called “Enchanted April” it’s a beauty and still one of my favorite movies of all time! Let us know if you rent it! :)
