My Funny Valentine
My mommy made me dress up,
for Valentine’s day today.
I really didn’t want to,
but she made me anyway.
My tutu’s tight, the bows bug me,
and who knows about my crown,
I feel like a dog gone wrong
I may never live this down.
If Valentine’s Day was for the dogs,
I’d always get a treat,
and I wouldn’t have to dress up
or try and look so sweet.
But then I heard about my friends,
so at least I’m not alone,
their mommies made them dress up too,
I can almost hear them groan.
I don’t think I can stand here
much longer for today
so take a peek at Bella,
and maybe Gibby wants to play.
And then come back to visit,
or you’ll miss my treat today.
I put some things together,
for a special give away!

Ribbons & Bows, glowing pink in all her crowning glory Chelsea and with her gift bag…What a fabulous photo. You are sooo creative & you MUST be a dog whisperer to be able to do what you do. Lets talk people an oscar for Chelesa. I so look forward to you both. You are both too adorABLE. I think you should really consider a comic strip or book deal with Chelsea you two are naturals. Happy Valentine’s Day to you all. I love the spirit. Here in Sweden it’s much more sober. Not many who dress up their dogs for a big day like this!

Chelsea, I know what you mean about itchy clothes, I had to get dressed up for a tea party with my daughters this weekend. What I wanted to wear, and what they picked out were 2 different things. I think you deserve to rest with your feet up for a while. Maybe even snack on a low fat doggie treat. Just remember that when you look back at the pictures it will all be worth it.
