Love those weekends
I had a great weekend, how about you? Did you get some time to yourself to do a few of those things on your list? Have you started Christmas shopping yet? I’ve been neglecting my house for two months while I’ve worked on new patterns, so this weekend it got some well needed TLC. Who knew cleaning up and putting things away could feel so good? I bought these wire baskets at Garnet Hill and I’m using them to store my wools. I like to see everything I have so these baskets are perfect! See the pastel wool bundles in the picture below? Primitive? Me?
I just received my second issue of Primitive Quilts. Have you seen this new magazine yet? It’s put together by a group of really creative ladies and I do mean creative. It’s so well done I find that I’m enjoying the magazine a lot. I signed up for a 2 year subscription! If you border between “Prim” and traditional style you’ll enjoy this new magazine. To tell the truth I think there’s room for a bit of prim in a shabby chic home. The last few quilt markets I’ve found myself in the booths selling wool and Valdani Pearl Cotton. Who’s that Squirrel? It’s Henrietta Whiskers!
Let’s have some fun! Join me in the Henrietta Whiskers Club! Can you imagine a cute little squirrel with a winning personality? I can, and I’ve put her in my newest applique quilt!
