• Twinkle Toes

Have you seen the newest girl’s quilt at Bunny Hill?  I’ve named it Twinkle Toes and it’s from my new fabric line Lily & Will Revisited. The idea for Twinkle Toes started the day my grand-daughter Alyssa came running up to my studio to show me her new pointe shoes.  She could hardly wait to put them on!   She’d worked so hard and waited so long to get these shoes.  The shoes were magical and her excitement was contagious! I’d been working on quilt ideas for my Lily & Will Revisited fabric line, and watching Alyssa dance around my studio in those shoes, put the idea of a ballet quilt in my head! I went…

  • In My Studio Now

I have some of my favorite fabrics on my studio shelves now.  They are calling my name, waiting for samples to be made.  It’s Lily & Will Revisited in pink, gray and Bunny Hill Blue. Pretty in pink, Beautiful in blue, Elegant in gray, Put them all together and it’s a Lily & Will Revisited Bundle!    I feel like I should order bolts for my own personal stash building, because this fabric won’t come again.  What if I decide several years from now, I need to make curtains from this beautiful gray Cottontail Toile? Or, maybe a duvet cover from this Cottontail Toile? And a dust ruffle from this beautiful stripe?  Did…

This special quilt is currently at the American Cancer Society getting ready for a high society event!  It will be attending  The…

  • Little Maya has arrived!

There’s nothing like a new grandchild to make you feel good. It’s such a wondrous event.  Maya, my newest granddaughter, arrived on February 8th weighing in around 9 lbs. She’s Lily’s little sister. Lily has held her, kissed her and probably wondered in that head of hers, if she’s going to be going home sometime soon.  But as time passes they will get to know each other well, and life will be about bonding, sister fights, sharing and all the good things that we learn when a sibling comes along. I’ll have to be content to view pictures for a few more months, as I wait for them to travel from…
