• Oh the goings ons!

So who’s shoes are these?  I’ll give you a little hint.   Yep I’ve been to the Great Mall of America and I bought MORE shoes.  My feet were hurting and I had to! But, I have serious shoe envy.  The little flower sandal are Barbara’s from Me & My Sister! She walks around in the cutest little sandals and is so, so happy! Me?  I have these three to choose from now!  Naot and Dansko.  Fitted by the Nordstrom shoe salesman who knew his feet stuff!  So I’m all happycomfy and so is Barbara in her cute little sandles. So onto market;  We rented a large van on Wednesday and…

  • A Few Things Going to Market

Did you think I’d be on that airplane right now?  Nope not until tomorrow at the early hour of 6:30 Pacific Time. Minneapolis here we come! Just have to share a few new things before I leave! My new fabric line comes with the most wonderful pre-quilted SOFT fabric!  I’ve used it for so many things! My friend Anne made this little pink jacket for our booth.  It’s just the sweetest! It’s a pattern from Oliver & S.  I parted with a few vintage glass buttons for the finishing touch.  It’s so adorable and you can see it in our booth, along with the little plaid skirt that goes with…

  • Feeding the Fetish

Thank you triple times over for all the shoe suggestions.  I’ve tried almost all of them!   The other day when UPS came to the door our driver had so many shoes my husband had to sign for them.  Yep, he was really happy about signing for shoes.  Keeps saying something about how he should have looked at my feet before he married me.  He thinks he’s funny. Don’t laugh at him, it just makes him worse. Almost everything has gone back, but I did keep these funky looking pair of Clarks.   FUNKY but so comfortable.  Would have preferred something a bit more feminine… I actually thought about keeping this…

  • Burr there’s a chill in the air!

It’s May 5th can you believe it?  Are you ready for block five of Snowbound?  To think that once a month these little snowmen take over our lives!  If you’re following along with my free block of the month I think you’ll be glad you did.  The quilt is looking pretty cute! My snowbound quilt is at the quilter’s, embellishments and all!  My quilter Lynne took pity on me and agreed to quilt around the embellishments.  This is an exception and not the norm, so please don’t do this do your quilter.  Wait to sew on all those buttons until your quilt is quilted.  I don’t want emails coming to…
