Welcome to the Moda All-Stars Mix-it-up blog hop! The Moda All-Stars have been sewing away with cake and cupcakes, and it’s so much fun! When Martingale asked us to create a quilt using either Cake or Cupcake papers, I didn’t hesitate. I love these papers! They make piecing a quilt so easy. ta da! announcing the mini charm winners
When Moda sends me sample yardage to make my quilts, they also include several mini charms, a layer cake, a fat quarter bundle and a fat eighth bundle. One of the first things I do when my fabric arrives is to open up a mini charm pack and tape each fabric square onto a plain white tag. Then I add a label with the SKU numbers and fabric names. Once I tie on the ribbon, I feel grounded. I’m ready to start sewing! Just looking at the collection of these tags, makes me feel inspired and ready to sew!
